The odAOMO brand boasts a luxurious line of unique garments, jewelry, bags, and belts, individually handcrafted in Kenya, Ghana & New Orleans by a handpicked core team. Exclusively designed by Kenya native, Dr.Sophia Aomo Omoro, and directed by NOLA native, Quentin Alexander. The underlying aesthetic is an unusual but effortless combination of across-cultural thread with a global appeal. One can catch hints and nuances of the designer’s global citizenship. The brand produces the garments and accessories from eco friendly materials. The premium fabric used are sourced from global outlets, including Kenya. Dr. Omoro personally designs and oversees the execution of each piece, all of which are proudly made in Kenya. Only very limited quantities are made, making each collection very exclusive. The odAOMO label has an admirable philanthropic side. Despite the challenges and overall cost of the venture of local production, Dr. Omoro is committed to improving lives by offering employment and opportunity at home in Kenya. Every item sold furthers the label’s commitment to ensuring fair, competitive, and steady wages to a key provider and bread winner member of the team globally.
